Un printemps d'ailleurs --
Film Description:
"Li Fang, a Chinese immigrant who arrived in Montreal 10 years ago, can't have children. The situation is deeply distressing to her, to the point of ruining her marriage with Éric. In desperation after a heartbreaking separation, the young woman sees only one thing to do: go back home to the city of Dazu, in southern China, to visit her grandfather and the rest of her family. This first feature by Xiaodan He (The Fall of Womenland) is deeply sensitive, poignant and beautifully filmed, built around a delicate, introspective performance by Wensi Yan."
